A sweet thank you

Spending the week off between Christmas and New year I filled my time catching up on house work. I even cleaned the baseboards. Yesterday we came home from picking up dinner, I noticed a little white box on the table. I opened it up to find this beautiful gold necklace with a paw print. I asked Mitchel about it and he apologized he didn't give it to me but it was a thank you for all the hard work I did and taking care of the furr babies during my break. Naturally my heart melted and am so grateful for my sweet husband.

Sunday

I haven't written.  But I've been thinking.  The sun is finally shinning. The days are warmer. My tree buds are starting to swell and will burst open in bloom any moment. The birds are chirping. The flowers are waking up. There are two beautiful robins hanging out on my neighbors roof and they are singing a delightful song. Spring awakens my soul and I am happy and whole once again.

Apparently all her rubbing and rolling on the carpet was an indication of her itching and her face blowing up because of the allergic reaction. When mitchel walked back to me in the kitchen and brought her poor face to my attention, I may have freaked a bit. It was easily 3 times her normal size. We immediately gave her benadryl. Looked on Google and called the emergency 24 hr vet in Orem. Our main concern was her having her airways close. We got in the car and headed south. The roads were awful and t...
